Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. 

My name is Abbie Bown. I’m the mom behind Riv + Ribbon Bow Co., a small handmade shop inspired by my two sweet little girls and the joy of dressing them up in beautiful bows. Like many moms, I was always on the hunt for the perfect bow—something cute, well-made, and comfortable enough for everyday wear. What started as a fun creative outlet quickly grew into something I loved sharing with other families.

When I’m not crafting bows, I’m usually busy with my full-time job, chasing my girls around, or enjoying time with my family. I love riding horses, swimming, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with my kids. Crafting has always been something that brings me peace and creativity, and making bows became the perfect way to combine that passion with motherhood.

The name Riv + Ribbon actually comes from a very special member of our family—our Boston Terrier, River. Around here we call him “Riv,” and the name just felt like the perfect fit for a bow company built around family, creativity, and a little bit of fun.

Every bow is handmade with love and designed with little ones in mind—from infants to toddlers. My goal is to create bows that are not only adorable, but also high quality and comfortable for your little girls to wear.
